Jaycee (born Shonubi Olanrewaju Joshua) is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter, and performer. He’s recently released his current promo
single entitled “BullDozer” published by Afrisounds & Remedix

Nigeria, Jaycee
was brought up in the suburbs of Lagos where he gained interest in singing.
Motivated to express his talent to the masses Jaycee joined the choir
where he and his friend managed to put together a teenage boy band named
JAMEX which consisted of him and hisfriends of the musical interest.
Jaycee and JAYMEX managed to release two singles; Jolly and Jofunmi,
which they have since performed in a number of occasions. But his journey
was only just warming up, for Jaycee exposure has always been his aim,
even as a musician he somehow managed to get time and Deejay’s (Disc
Jockey) not just for the love of music but also to gain a little change.
A big fun of fiesta, parties and celebrations, Jaycee once used his
hobby as a trade by doing dj sets in selected nightclubs in Lagos where
he also gained a following. A real believer in achievement, Jaycee’s
journey to UK was never an easy one, but somewhat a blessing, by respecting
his surroundings, meeting the right people Jaycee managed to bring expose
his talent to people he believed in and who are willing to support such
amazing talent of a musician yet to be heard international but causing
a stir internally in and around London.
Signed to his Afrisounds & Remedix Music Por, Jaycee has been
working on a number of tracks to start his march, doing collaborations
with a number of Afribeats UK scene. Jaycee has worked with Showa Shins,
Sonaman, Mazi Chuks, Kida Kudz, MoeLogo, with production work done by
OY Productions, Skob Original just to name a few.
