Yes! Magazine explains the Genevieve Nnaji interview. It's an old one

The publishers of Yes! International Magazine have explained the mix up with the Genevieve Nnaji exclusive interview which the actress earlier today said was 'either false or as old as her career'. Well, you can't blame Genevieve for not remembering granting the interview because it's an old one...over 10 years old. Yes! Magazine explains;
Like we professionally stated in our intro, it’s an old interview she had with our Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Azuh Arinze, years back at Oceanview Restaurants, Victoria Island, Lagos. He only stumbled on the tape again and reproduced it. Above all, we still have the tape of the interview as well as photographs taken on that day.
Well, that explains the confusion. But why do I feel like most of you are more interested in that 'how to tighten your vagina' story? Lol. Make I bring am come here? Hehe

Frank Edoho and I Shouldn’t Have Married’ – Edoho’s Ex

Frank Edoho and Katherine Obiang were married for many years, and blessed with three kids, before things fell apart.
Frank Edoho and Katherine Obiang were married for many years, and blessed with three kids, before things fell apart.
‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ host Frank Edoho is still legally married to estranged wife, Katherine, who told NET last week that the pair should never have become husband and wife. Katherine Obiang, who has three kids for the TV host spoke to our correspondent in a compelling interview how the 7-year old marriage should never have been and how the couple should have rather stayed friends. Excerpts:
Let us into your background.
I’m Cameroonian. My dad is from Cameroun, my mom is from the Efik tribe in Nigeria, but somehow, we have been living there and here. My mom was a Head of Department in a tertiary institution, it was natural that we lived in Nigeria. I have no sister but brothers as siblings and even my aunt had only boys as kids, so I grew up among boys. I had different influences. We travelled a lot and to an extent, the experience helped shape who I am and how I see things. It was generally an OK childhood.
How did you start your journey in Nigerian media?
It was during my one-year internship. I was working with the account section of aradio station and one day, the programme manager called me and asked me to read something for him, after which he asked if I had thought of doing something on radio. I gasped but because I am always up for a challenge, I said yes when he asked if I was interested. I used to script everything I said so I can sound interesting and gradually, I grew into it.
And how are your kids taking the whole divorce issue?
We are not really divorced. It’s still a work-in-progress kind of thing but we are taking it well. When its time for him to see the children, he does and when its time to return them, he does. On my part, I have carried the children along and make them understand they are not stained because of it. I wouldn’t want them to develop a complex because of it. We didn’t design for these things to happen but they do. Its like people who have lost their parents, they didn’t plan for it but they have to move on. I watch them and I think they are doing pretty okay especially because we talk about it every time there is a reason to.
You mentioned that you aren’t really divorced. Does that suggest possibility of reconciliation?
No, it doesn’t. We just started the process but there isn’t any hope for reconciliation. We know we would always be in each other’s lives because of the children, so we have to be civil. When the children are getting married for example, we have to hide our differences and make it work.

NEWS : TIWA SAVAGE GETS READY FOR NOVEMBER WEDDING + INSIDE DETAILS

TUNJI Tiwa Savage is getting married in three months’ time. That’s right; the beloved music maker is saying goodbye to the bachelorettes’ club in November 2013.
Nigerian Entertainment Today has confirmed that Tiwa will be tying the knot with her fiancĂ© and manager Tunji ‘T-Billz’ Balogun starting with an engagement ceremony on November 23, 2013 which will be followed by a white wedding which is expected to hold in early 2014 on the island nation of Maldives.
The couple are yet to make an official statement on this but has already kicked off plans for what is expected to be the biggest wedding in the latter part of this year.
Maldives, officially known as the Republic of the Maldives and also referred to as the Maldive Islands, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean with a population of less than 400,000 people.
Already, Tiwa in the company of her friend, Beth Models CEO, Elohor Aisien travelled to the Maldives in July. Apparently, reports have it that the ladies went to pick out venues and plan other wedding details. Sort of reminds us of when Annie Idibia initially travelled to Dubai to pick a venue for her star-studded wedding to 2face Idibia back in February.
Then Tiwa gave the world a much stronger hint when she posted a photo of her and Tunji (while at D’banj’s sister’s wedding) with the caption ‘Baby we’re next’. The pair for a long time had been rumoured and reported to have been dating. While this of course was true, it was only known as ‘industry news’. Tiwa and her publicist often denied the relationship.
But on January 24, 2013, things got a bit clearer when the pair travelled to Dubai for a holiday getaway at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The couple spent a week only to return to Lagos for Tunji to make a formal proposal on February 5, 2013 which coincidentally was Tiwa’s birthday. ‘The power to deny their relationship grows weaker by the day, they are really in love with each other’, a source close to the couple told us back then. ‘Now that they have announced their status to everyone, the tension will cease.’
It truly did cease as the couple made yet another red carpet moment for the photographers at Tiwa’s album listening party in late May 2013, this time not bothered by any subsequent report. Efforts to get both Tiwa and her man, T-Billz to reveal further details of the proposed wedding have not been fruitful.
Tunji has played a very instrumental role in Tiwa’s life and music career; the couple met in the US in 2009. Tunji who had listened to one of Tiwa’s demo earlier met up with the singer with the latter taking up interest in her music. Tunji and Tiwa decided to change the direction of her music to fit the Nigerian sound as they planned a comeback – the result of that was her Nigerian debut single, the smash hit ‘Kele kele love’.
Friends of the couple say Tunji (who had already gained experience working as Sauce Kid’s manager under QBeatz shortly before) was a strong pillar behind Tiwa and instrumental to her success. Tunji reportedly has two children from a past relationship.

"I want God to bless me with the right man& good family' - Genevieve Nnaji

In an exclusive interview with Azuh Arinze of Yes Magazine, Genevieve Nnaji talks about finding the right man, her relationship with Kunle Coker and plans to go back to school. Excerpts...
How did you come into the movie industry?
"I have been acting since I was eight in Ripples. That was how I got into acting. For movies, I think that should be in 1998 in Most Wanted. I met Torino (Emeka Ojukwu) in a bus and to my greatest surprise, he recognized me from Ripples. He asked me why I left the industry and later invited me to the audition for Most Wanted. I got a role. A waka pass and that was it."
But the story we heard was that Kunle Coker brought you into Nollywood and both of you even dated
"Yes, Kunle Coker was actually my boyfriend, but he did not bring me to the industry.

Star actress Genevieve Nnaji is on the cover of this week's Yes! Magazine (above left) where she purportedly granted an exclusive interview to the magazine publisher, Azuh Arinze, talking about her career, love life and wishes for the future.

A few minutes after I culled excerpts from the one-page interview, Genevieve Nnaji took to twitter to deny granting it. She said the interview is either false or as old as her career.
